Thanks to the law of attraction and movies like The Secret we all know that ‘we get what we focus on’.
Further to that, when we focus on a thing we are flowing our energy toward it.
In order to flow your energy toward it you need to be clear about the specifics of what it is so that you can energetically connect with it.
Your intention statement is your connection to the specific energy of your desire.
Once you connect with this energy you can then direct your thoughts, words, feelings, and actions towards the manifestation of it.
There are three components to your intentions statement that will make it so powerful that it will work every single time and deliver to you whatever it is that you are flowing your energy toward through your written and spoken statements.
PART 1
You must have a clear and very specific statement of your desire and it must be written as if you have already achieved it.
What is the specific outcome, how much money do you want to attract? What exact improvement in your health do you want? What is the specific type of relationship? How much do you want to weigh? How many clients do you want to service in your business? What does your desire look like exactly? Do you have a time frame for your desire?
Tip: if you are putting a time frame on it, take a moment to feel how it feels to have a time frame…if it doesn’t feel good or you have doubt perhaps you shouldn’t include it or you might choose to re-think your time frame.
Example: I am grateful that my business has 10 new clients each month, by June 1st 2012 and is generating an extra $10,000 per month.
PART 2
Your intention statement must include a paragraph about the feelings you have knowing that this desire has already been realised in your reality.
Take a moment to close your eyes and connect with your desire, as it has manifested. How do you feel – Excited? Grateful? Happy? Energized? Powerful? Confident? Loving?
Choose some of the feelings that you imagine you will feel and write a sentence to include in your intention statement.
Example: I am feeling excited about the future, confident in my abilities and so very grateful for the new clients I am working with.
PART 3
Every desire that you have has a purpose to it. Generally we only think about how it will impact our lives but if you want to really ramp up your manifesting powers consider also including in your intention statement a sentence about how the realisation of your desire will impact the lives of the people around you and if appropriate, how it will impact the greater community, your country or the World.
Example: My life changes in amazing ways; more abundance, more happiness, and a clear discovery of who I am. My family is impacted from both my success and through sharing my increased income to have a better life and hundred of people are impacted by my teachings and rediscovering their own power and abundance.
Finally, take each of the three parts above and bring them together to create your powerful intention statement.
Your intention statement is a definition of your destination AND is the first place to start toward the realisation of your dreams for yourself and those around you.
