You are a star!

Lights! Camera! Action!

You are making a movie, the movie of your life and you need to make a decision…will you make a low budget independent movie or an Oscar winning, box office blockbuster that will show the world your star qualities?

The law of attraction has taught us that we are responsible for everything in our life, the good, the bad and the downright ugly. How does that make you feel?

Do you feel like you are not responsible for the way your life is – has been – up to this point in time or are you champing at the bit ready to get out there and create your life exactly the way you want it to be?

Let us consider that your life is a movie. What genre are you living right now? Is your life a horror flick? Perhaps it is a drama with lots of tears and hand wringing? Or is your life a romantic comedy of errors?

What if I told you that you can create your life to be exactly as you want it to be and that it is as easy as writing a script, as easy as deciding to let your imagination run free as you dream bigger than you have ever dreamed before.

Imagine just for these few moments in time that your life is a movie and you are responsible for every single part of the movie.
◆ You are the scriptwriter.
◆ You are the main character.
◆ You are the casting agent, choosing the actors who will play a part in your movie.
◆ You are the director.
◆ You are the set designer.
◆ You are the musical director.
◆ You are the location finder.

Let us look at your responsibility in the various roles that you can play in the creation of your movie and your life. As the scriptwriter you will write the story of your life exactly as you want it to be. As the main character you will play your part as written by you, the scriptwriter. As the casting agent you get to choose the players that you interact with in your daily life and as the scriptwriter, you get to choose what the players say and do when they interact with you in your daily life.

As the director, you direct your movie, your cast members and your extras as you see fit from moment to moment. As the director, you can direct the scriptwriter (yourself), to rewrite the script at any time whenever what you have already written is not working out the way you would want it.

As the set designer and location finder you get to decide where you will play and live, the things that you will surround yourself with, and the backdrop to each scene.

And again, as the director, at the end of the day you can watch the rushes, cut out the things that did not work and edit the footage to suit you.

You will then ask the scriptwriter to re-write any scenes that you are shooting the next day so that they are just perfect for you.

Oh and let us not forget your job as musical director – you will choose the music that surrounds you as you triumph, as you breakthrough and as you reach your goals.

What will your movie look like? What will you choose for your set? What location are you shooting your movie at? Who will you invite onto your set to play alongside? How will they behave? How will you behave? How big, how ground breaking, how blockbuster will you choose to go?

It is time to be proactive and write your script. It is important when starting to create your life that you come from a place of power and so before starting to write your script it will be helpful to do an exercise to bring you out of your head and into that place within you, where your true power comes from.

Stand with your feet hip width apart and allow your hands to hang with your fingers splayed loosely. Now close your eyes and take a few deep breaths into your belly and as you do so allow all the energy that you are holding in your head to come down into what we call the ‘seat of power’.

For women this area is the place where your womb is and for men it is a little
lower in the area of the groin.

Bring all the energy from your head and down into your seat of power. You should now be able to feel some tightness in this area or perhaps a slight feeling of fullness.

Now as you feel that, take your hands and bring them close together in front of this
area – you should feel the pull of energy between your hands and you may even be able to move the energy between your hands.

Keeping your energy in your seat of power, find a comfortable seat and taking your journal, start to write out the script of your life.

Write without censure. Do not judge anything that you write at this stage, just write as freely as you can. Write out the story of your life, as it now will be, make that decision to be and do and have all you desire and deserve.

Consider these questions as you write:
What do I want to achieve?
What do I want to have?
What do I want to be?
What do I want to do?
How will I behave?
How will others behave toward me?

Dream big as you write, nothing is off limits and nothing is out of your reach, you are the creator of this script and you can make it anything you want.

You are a Star and you will be walking the red carpet on the way to collecting an Oscar for this, the movie of your life.
